Butter, syrup, hotcakes.
3/4 cups buttermilk (or add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to milk and let sit for 10 minutes)
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons melted butter
- Whisk together buttermilk, egg, and melted butter in a bowl.
- Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Pour the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and whisk until lumps are gone.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and grease with butter . Pour, flip, butter, add syrup and eat.
